Perceptions

::mood::reminiscent

Perceptions, script #6998 - by Dr. Tom Harrison, pastor of Asbury United Methodist Church

Mae West, the flamboyant actress, once said, "When I am good, I am very good. But when I am bad, I am even better." On why he did not have any kids, one guy said, "Because I am fond of children."

David Bowie wore outrageous costumes when we was on stage at his concerts. About one outfit he was wearing he remarked, "This is not a woman's dress I am wearing. It is a man's dress."

A man was asked if there were any teaching vacancies at his school. He said, "There are plenty of vacancies, but they are all filled." That reminds me of someone asking a business owner, "How many people work for you?" He answered, "About one-third."

Finally, a man was asked if he believed in predestination or free will. He said, "We have to believe in free will. We have no choice." Gratefully, we do have a choice on how we will live. Let's be sure to do a great job, today!
