Thanksgiving

::music::listening for a phone call

It's Thanksgiving. That's what the calendar says. That's what everyone around me says. That's what my job says with a four day weekend. That's what the turkey in the oven says as it fills the house with wonderful smells.

But it doesn't feel like it.

There's nobody here. Well, I am. And a few others of my family. But not as many as usual.

Normally it's HUGE. I'm talking, EVERYone comes from as far as they have to to be here. That's just how it's always been.

But this year, everyone's gone.

It just can't be Thanksgiving without everyone here. Even if I get stuffed.
