for anyone more than briefly acquainted with me, it should be common knowledge my small-time pre-occupation with internet security.

I'm not talking about making sure you're online bank account is safe from phishers. But more of the simple stuff...the kind of stuff that will lead up to having your bank account hacked and your credit record ruined.

on that same note, personal and online lives are becoming so intertwined that the wealth of easy-access information about a person is available to future employers, parents, friends, significant others...anyone with a care and the time to google your name.

We all regard it as a fact, that wikipedia contains very few (...facts, that is), which hasn't stopped google, who already knows everything you never wanted them to know about you, from linking to it profusely, who is now being aided and abetted by their not-so-distant-cousin: Facebook.
